In 2016, the Brewers of Europe, home to 6500 brewers in Europe, launched Beerwisdom, a platform to support responsible beer consumption.
Work through the platform contributed to the drafting and signing of a Memorandum of understanding on listing ingredients and nutrition information for alcoholic beverages and the Brewer’s Ambition 2022, which aims to ensure that in 2022, ingredients and energy information should figure on the label of all pre-pack beer containers.
