The Czech Food & Drink federation has recently launched a new database of reformulation efforts in the Czech food and drink industry.
The new database allows consumers can search for products with improved ingredients. A selection of the database is available to all consumers, manufacturers, but also to clients of nutrition advisors and those interested in healthy lifestyles.
The database will help the industry to communicate important reformulation changes in favour of a healthier eating and to facilitating the work of nutritional therapists by providing an overview to clients, patients and those interested in healthy lifestyles and consumers.
The database is also another step in the industry’s efforts to deliver reformulation across Europe, as encouraged by the European Commission.
